Welcome back after a lovely break and hopefully a stay vacation for all. It has been very quiet in the Pop Up during the first half of August, but yesterday I think you were all back in with a vengeance, so thank you. The shop is looking lovely, with a lot of new stock and everything looking fresh and exciting, so if you are in the vicinity please drop in and say "hello".
St Marys Books South has some excellent editions both 1st and 2nd in good condition, if you are looking for anything in particular then it's always worth asking. If you are looking for a one off statement piece then check out the Taschen Display books of David Bailey photographs, David Hockney paintings or Annie Leibovitz photography, which come signed and certificated on their own stand. Our artist of the week this week is: Susie Cooper Kids, who makes the most beautiful children's clothing. The colours and fabrics are exquisite and beautifully handcrafted with care and attention to detail. She also sells the most exquisite collection of rag dolls, boys and girls, mums and dads, plus cushion covers that have humour and glamour in one. See slide show:
