A wonderfully colourful illustration of a Macaw palm which is native to the tropical regions of South America. These trees grow small nut size fruit similar to coconuts.
This print references a beautiful hand coloured french print from the 1800s. Prints of this style were originally printed in black and white and then hand painted over the top to give them bright vibrant colours.
