Welcome to the Pop Up Blog!

It has been a busy and exciting time in the shop this week, greeting all you lovely customers, once again thank you for your support. Keep an eye on the Reigatepopup instagram for little snippets that are happening during the week and new product arrivals.

Artist of the week, this week is...... My Silver Design

My Silver Design is handcrafted jewellery made by Jayne at her workbench in Surrey. It all starts with a sketch and ideas drawn from architectural structure and form. Working mainly with silver, she enjoys experimenting with materials such as concrete and resin, opposites in both quality and look. Geometrical and symmetrical form often playing a role in her designs whether for a ring, earrings, necklace or bracelet. More recently in her latest collection it has been about colour, working to her own colour palette and combining one or more for a fun summery vibe. She likes her pieces to take on more than one option, earrings that can be used in different ways, as studs or drops.

Jayne is happy to take on commissions, creating something not only totally unique but quite personal to the customer. Come and see hers and all the other wonderful Artists work in The Reigate Popup Shop. A fantastic place to browse and get some ideas for that illusive present that you have been looking for.

Antique vases sit comfortably alongside the contemporary, by St Mary’s Books. I have a real thing about orange at the moment, it is such a vibrant colour and adds a focal point to any room or shelf that’s needs a bit of a lift. I also think that due to having been in lockdown for so long our surroundings are crying out for a little touch of humour, and this is where these very elegant leopard, lion, zebra or giraffe vases can really make a difference.

Downstairs is looking really enticing and with so much to choose from, why not treat yourself?

Next week we will hone in on another creative success story and follow what has been happening along the High Street. Stay in touch with us on facebook or instagram and we sincerely hope you have a good week, please feel free to drop in and browse at any time.
